ok, heres what happened. Saturday night and Sunday night I was driving along, then all of a sudden my engine RPMs would drop to 600-1200 and when I'd hit the gas pedal nothing would happen. I had to pull off the road and start it back up for it to be normal again. Whats wrong? Is it the fuel pump?

That happened to me before and it was from a clogged fuel filter. It would idle fine but when I hit the gas it would bog and go no faster than 5 mph.
