Bucking!!!
hey guys,
My car seems to be bucking. Like when im driving down the road doing about 30 or 40, the car is in overdrive, the car seems to give quick little lunges like bucking. What could this be. I have all new tune up stuff, cap rotor, plugs, wires, all that stuff. I checked all of my wires and none seemed to be burned or anything.?????????

That's what I'd guess.
Crawl under the driver's side of the car.
Find the wire going to the side of your tranny to a plug. Unplug it and go for a ride. If it goes away, you know it's the Torque Converter Clutch locking up when it's not supposed to.

yes....it's a SQUARE plug that had a clip on it. Plugs in on the driver's side.
If this cures it, you more than likely have a sticking / malfunctioning TCC solenoid inside the tranny.
It's very easy to replace, and you'll need to change the fluid and filter at the same time ( in the tranny ) which your tranny probably needs anyway.

so what this solenoid cause this surging problem and the tach twitching. the twitching only happens sometimes and i have noticed that it seems to buck very very slightly at cruising speeds on the highway also
Okay...
The TCC solenoid "locks up" the torque converter clutch. This results in LESS RPM's when cruising. In a functioning 7004R with TCC, you drive down the road, at say 60mph in OD....keeping your foot on the gas, tap the brake pedal..you'll notice the RPM's INCREASE when you do..that's the TCC unlocking through a switch wired to the break pedal.
It COULD be something else..but since unplugging the TCC wiring is FREE, and will tell you right away if that's the problem....
