Stewart WP users?
I'm just wondering which one you are using stage 1 or stage 2 and your impression. Also, how much lighter is an aluminum pump?
Just wondering cuz i'm gonna swap my WP out in the spring and wanted to know if i should blow the extra $80 for the aluminum stage 2 even though it'll surely be overkill. I'm a big fan of overkill cooling...

- Definitely prototypes, high powered mutants of some kind. Too weird to live, too cool to die

I put a Stewart stage 1 on my L98 last fall when I finished the rebuild so I haven't driven it in summer heat yet,but on the highway last fall with the temps in the 40s it wouldn't get above 150 deg. That's with a 160 deg stat.

I have a Stage 2 on mine... no overheating problems at all, with a 400 and stock HO cooling system except for a later model aluminum-plastic radiator.
They're a good bit lighter than an iron one; I'd say 7 or 8 pounds.

I have a stage I on my 406. It ran really cool all last summer, but I also have a Griffin rad too. Unless you are really concerned about weight, I would stick with the iron one and save some money
