1le brakes???

1le brakes???

how do i know i have 1LE brakes?? i ran every rpo code i have, i do have 4 wheel disc, 5.7tpi 89 iroc-z fully loaded but do i have or how can i tell if i have 1LE brakes?

100% sure you do not have 1LE brakes, if you have a 5.7 IROC-Z and you have 10.5 Dia front & 11.655 Dia rear rotors.

1Le brakes are better right? and 1LE are 2 piston vs 1 right? and since i have a 5.7 iroc why wouldnt they allow better brakes? or what help me understand

Engine: L98 & 355ci
Transmission: 700r4 in both
If you had 1LE brakes, you would have either a 1LE or a B4C RPO code.

The 1LE brakes were special, do some research on 1LE (porpose built racecars) and the B4C is the police package that got the 1LE brakes.

you are correct 1LEs are dual piston

Read the info in the Tech Data on the home page of this site. Will clue you into the history of what brakes were available thur the years. And again you do not have the 1LE brakes.
