Car: 1989 GTA / 92 Z28
Engine: 350ci
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.73
serpentine belt

I would appreciate any help...Im rebuilding my L03 engine and had to lose the AC compressor and pollution pump pulleys along with the tensioner for the belt...now i dont know how i can put tension on the belt being left with crank,water pump,alternator and power steering pulleys...has anyone done something like this? what are my choices...thnx

You'll either need to install some sort of tensioner, or change the alternator to a pre-'88 style with an adjustable mounting bracket. I'm not sure how that will align the alternator with the rest of the sheaves, though.

thnx for the info Vader...i see not too many people know anything about this...got nothing to suggest...alright then i guess i haveto figure something out...im sure March has some type of kit...i just thought someone did or heard of something like this already and had somekindof advice...thnx anyway
