Help - 9 Amps, and no fans?
Background - 89 camaro irocz, auto, tpi

Few weeks back, some ******* rips out cd player, rips out negative battery terminal, which I had to screw back in at 2am. Next thing I know, my fans don't come on anymore. Luckily I have a toggle switch, but they don't come on by themselves anymore? Any ideas?

Next problem, just a week ago, I notice instead of usually running 13-15 amps, It's running 12 and sometimes as low as 10. Battery is charging fine. Alternator just replaced today and still no change.

My first guess is to check grounds. I am having a little bit of a problem myself, my gauge sometimes reads right above the red, with dim head lights and a blinker that won't flash, other times I have no problem, with the gauge reading somewhere in the middle, and everything works fine. I need help also, the battery is pretty new, the alternator is supposed to be new... dunno what's going on. Seems to happen more in cold weather?

Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but I need help too.
