I remember seeing a picture on this board of a 4’th gen gas tank with the charcoal canister mounted right on top of it. I was wondering if anyone has attempted putting a 4’th gen charcoal canister under there car or tried moving the 3’rd gen canister out of the engine bay.
I am trying to clean up some clutter in the engine compartment but I don’t want to get rid of it.

how did you guys do this? i haven't got a response from the thread I started. did you tap into the vent line, and then run a new vacuum, and plug parts of the control valve? I'm fumbling in the dark, guys... help a bro out.

also, is it ok to turn the canister sideways? or is this a bad idea?
The cannister must remain in the vertical position.
I'm relocating mine to the area behind the drivers side headlight under the battery. I'll be fabbing up a bracket to solidly mount it later this spring after I get the front suspension back together.
