I'm looking on buying a 91 4runner. It only has the 4cyl 2.4 engine. It can hardly pull its weight, anyway it's more fun than driving a Mazda 323. I'm gonna have it cheap cause the engine has 281000 kms on it. I'm gonna be rebuilding it but I need to know if there is any company that make some bigger cams for those engines..

Thanks,
Nik

There are aftermarket companies that offer cams, pistons, etc. for these.

I just can't think of the names..

I would call a local machine shop and ask them.
