Quick ignition question

On my HEI there is a place for the Tach and the Bat hookups. I have 2 wires to go here, one is red, other is white.
Question: Does bat=white or does tach=red? Thanks.

They are keyed. They should fit only one way. It I remember correctly white is tach and red is battery.

84 is right: big red/pink is Batt, small white is Tach.
