Rick

if i cant bypass it...due to lack of correct resistor...can i completely bypass the lock cylinder and jump the starter??? i NEED to start this car today!!! NEED to. thanks

A Moderator felt it unapropriate that I post info about a standard factory "security" option that is about as easy to bypass as a switch (duh). Sorry for the lack of respect but I'm in a bad mood, sorry.

BB,

Until there is an official position on VATS from the board/site master, please email a moderator for the details.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but there's not much else I can do at this point...

V,
i saw the archives and the anguish i cause GlennL98GTA. i realize that it is somewhat of a security breach but this IS a help board for our cars. I havent received much help at all. I know the knowledge is out there but some are unwilling to share. if they really think someone is going to get all of the resistors, take apart the dash, and try out all the resistors for 2 hours....sheet...its taken me two days to figure it out....and steal our UNDER 5000 dollar value cars, when they can steal my neighbors 80,000 mercedes....then fine. But all they are doing is hurting me and others in need of help
