power brake question
I just finished my engine swap and the power brake vacuum line brackets and stuff don't fit. Can I just run a vacuum line directly from the booster to the vacuum port on my holley carb?

better than nothing, right?
an optimal fitting would be a bigass one on the intake manifold. if you dont have one, there should be one on the carb

Every single intake I have ever seen, or installed had a port for the brakes. It might be a size smaller, but its still there. Unless it is an intake from an older car that didn't come with power brakes

I've got an edelbrock rpm air gap intake manifold and a holley street avenger 670 carb...there is a vacuum port for power brake on the carb. Can I run a vacuum line directly from there to the booster?

The factory tapped the power brakes from the back of the carb base. However, they also had a nipple on the front for the PCV.
You don't want to run the PCV off of a runner source. You want it spread evenly across the cylinders. However, the power brake booster doesn't have a constant flow, so tapping it off a runner is okay. And, you don't want to try to run both the PCV and power booster off the same source.

Just run the booster off the port on the carb. It works fine that way. Besides, if you have a double pumper holley the back bowl covers up the vacuum port on some intakes.
