no start sometimes

I have a 91 camaro with the 3.1 V6. Sometimes, after I have run the car all day, like back and forth to school a few times, when I get home and say I go to go somewhere just a little bit later, It will not start. I have checked everything I know to check. The fuel pump does not get fire to it when this happens. It does get fire through the fuel pump relay though. What could possibly cause this to happen. As I said, It only does it when it has been cranked a few times and is warm. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

when you say it won't start, what exactly do you mean?
a. the engine turns over quickly but does not fire.
b. the engine turns over slowly and does not fire.
c. the engine turns over and fires but doesn't start.
d. the engine doesn't turn over at all.
e. no power to anything.

Thanks for the reply. When this happens, the engine turns over and everything, it just doesnt get any fuel. If I take the hose off the back of the throttle body, and spray carb cleaner in it and turn the engine over, it will fire up, so the engine is firing, it just doesnt get fuel. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
