Pre-dyno/distributor questions.
I'm having my car dynoed on the 27th. Now I just have a few tuning questions first. How far should I have my timing advanced? It's at 10 degree's at idle now. Also I've heard that I should get one of those mechanical advance distributor kits to switch over from vacuum. Any opinions on this? And what kind of power do you think I will put down?

If you drive on the street stick with the vacuum advance. If you unplug vacuum line to the dist then you have a mech advance dist. As far as timing, that is something youll want to check on the dyno. It sounds like youve got a good place to start. Just keep advancing 2 degrees till you loose power or get pinging.
