How often do you change your O2 sensor?

I'm getting ready to do some spring maintenance on my IROC and wanted to know if others on the board change their Oxygen Sensor on a regular basis, as a part of preventative maintenance.

Can the sensor be serviced (cleaned)?

I change my plugs annually, and I didn't do my O2 sensor then. The car does not idle quite as smoothly as it normally does, and my No. 1 cylinder burns some oil, so maybe the sensor has alot of carbon buildup. It's been about 2+ years, 20k miles since I replaced it. Guess it's time.

O2's cant succesfully be cleaned with any reliablilty. The recomended replacement is around 50k but i just wait till they go bad.

O2 sensors will get "lazy" with usage. Must change every 50 to 100K. Wide range but depends on overall condition of engine.
