I've discovered a leaky heater core and the only things keeping it connected to the car at this point are the two heater hoses. The problem is they are both stuck to the heater core pipes. Any ideas on how to separate them without damaging the hoses or the firewall?

Sodomize the hoses. They're not worth the trouble of saving.

Slit them lengthwise where they go on the nipples with a razor blade. You need new hoses anyway.
