DOH! Crossed battery charger wires did i break something?

I was in a rush and i crossed the positive and negative clamps on my battery charger to the wrong terminal on the battery for about 10 second before i realized what a stupid thing i did. The battery seems to be taking a charge but I am wondering if i may have damaged anything else on the car?

The battery is a pretty big electircal shock absorber so you should be ok. If anything id say the battery is the only thing you ahve to worry about.

Well, at least you didn't do like my niece's college educated husband. While jumping his car, he hooked the wires up backwards and turned the key to start the car. LOUD bang as battery blows up.
