Hey guys.
I have a friend. This friend of mine lives in Houston and is trying to get his car inspected. When he tried to get it inspected, he was told he had too big of a cam or something and it wouldn't pass. What he was told was right. What can he do about this? It's fairly urgent he get it inspected asap.

 

Hmm... Replace the cam?

I don't think he's gonna replace the cam to pass. Any other suggestions?

 

Call a few shops like MTI, Internet Racer's etc and see where they recommend for the most "leanient" inspections.

Just HOW BIG is the cam?

IROniCally enough, he has the ZZ4 motor in his camaro too *wink*. I am not too sure if the guys at MTI would appreciate me just asking that of them. I prolly need to know someone in there, don't you think?

 

I'd say take it somewhere else to get it inspected. Probabally have better luck with different people. Maybe the person inspecting it was wanting to be a ***** that day.
