Power Steering Question

will anything break if i permanently drive my car w/o the power steering belt. The power steering pump and pulley will still be there, i just won't have the belt. The reason is b/c i have a wierd power steering bracket and i don't know how to adjust it. I can't put a new belt on w/o adjusting it so untill i get a regular, adjustable power steering bracket, im gonna leave the belt off. Is this ok? Thanks

No, you won't harm anything as long as you can still steer the car safely.
