i want to put a fuel pressure gauge in my car but not sure what one to use? which is more accurate? do i need a afpr to do this i know if i get a mech i will need a isolator i think its called does this come with the gauge? also i know probably the electrical one would be easier to hook up? i plan on making a gauge pod somehow to mount where my heater controls used to be aove the radio. anyone got part numbers when i look in the summit mag they dont say anything bout an isolator well let me know thanks!

No, the mechanical gauges don't come with the isolator. Summit does carry them even though it's not listed in their catalog...just give them a call and ask for Autometer's high pressure isolator (sorry, don't have a part number)

I had a mechanical setup with an isolator but it's a PITA to setup and I still question it's accuracy. IMO, Autometers electrical pressure gauges are just as accurate as the mechanical ones and WAY easier to install...I'm gonna switch over to an electrical pressure gauge soon.
