compression vs. cylinder pressure

Can anyone give me a rough idea what 185psi on a compression
test might translate to in a compression ratio.(it only has a mild
cam in it)

I'm nowhere near as good as RB, so I can't tell you either.

What I can tell you is 185 is a good cylinder pressure to run on the street with pump gas.

The target range, from what I've read and heard is 180-190 psi cranking pressure.
