Shave heads/Better Gasket/Quench
I had a set of 76 cc heads shaved .020 and also changed to a .015 1094 Fel Pro head gasket, which I believe is a total of a .046 change on what I had and a .040 quench.
Waiting on O2 sensor to be check by Bosch, getting plug for old O2 sensor as now it's in exhaust manifold old one was just before Cat.
This is on a 5.7 motor using Federal Mogue CH 1.560 pistons. Hoping to get closer to 9.01:1 comp. Using Comp cams 1.6 magnum roller rockers but it's a tight fit to adjust roller rockers and tighted one cylinder at a time, pain. Anyone know what I have for compression using a comp cam 212-218 .050 with 444 lift? Pistons H345NP40 pistons, -5 cc.
Hope to finish it up soon, but I also notice a fuel line bent and need to fix that tomorrow depending on weather. These heads had 1.94-1.50 valves as other heads came bare, 2.02-1.60. Need to modify a air cleaner to use dual stud TBI.
