Fuel Pump Push Rod?

I have an 84 Z28, L69. I'm in the process of mod'in the engine this week. I've pulled the mechanical fuel pump off, but I don't see a push rod. I do see a broad piece of metal that points at about 7 o'clock or so if you were looking at the timing chain cover as a clock.

Does this move up and down to actuate my fuel pump?

Just checking.

Thanks,

Yes, remove the lower bolts in the fuel pump block off plate. This plate will come off and the pushrod will fall out.
