Help me out

Here is what I have to work with:

1986 Camaro: 305 LO, dying 700R4, disc brakes in front, limited slip drum brake rear, badly damaged driver's side fender, banged up driver's side door, cracked front bumper cover. To add to all this the steering is messed up, the flywheel sucks, the suspension is crap, it has a sagging headliner, nasty carpet, and lots of burn holes in the front seats.

What would you do?

Sell it (or give it away) and shell out 5-8 grand for one in a condition you can work with. Otherwise you'll spend more than that just getting it to a decent level of operating condition and looks. I got my '90 IROC for $8000 with 30,000 miles on it from the original owner.

Yes, thats what I was considering.

Since I have a conscience I'm not going to ask more than $1000.
