As I was driving home from work, things were good...car running tip-top. You guys know how it is, that good all around, top of the world, see the big hill coming, hit the accelerator, mustang get out of the way- wonderful day. Well all my modification, good running hot ride was no match for the hill. Fuel pump went out, out of no where...right about the base of my hill. Called the tow truck from the middle of the hill. No earlier signs...no sluggish performance, just one DEAD T.A. (Lucky I didn't get killed, traffic was heavy, and I'm not the only one who charges that hill)The only thing I could think about was all the modification and restoration, and there is always something simple, that can crop up and NAIL you out of no place. Never changed my fuel pump...wonder if I should have thought about it? 16 years young? Hmmmmmm.
Everything in front of the tank is new. Hmmmmm?
