Fuel pump keeps running, Why?
Why does my Fuel pump keep running after I shut the car off? It runs until the oil pressure drops to near zero. Is the problem in the oil sysem or it's sensors. Or is the problem in the Fuel Systems or it's sensors??

FC,
Inspect the fuel pump circuit. This phenomenon is completely normal, and means that the auxilliary oil pressure switch is working correctly.
Mine does this as well, and has since it was new. As long as there is 7 PSIG of oil pressure in the main gallery, the switch should be closed, causing the pump to operate.

I believe that the relay is not at fault. I replaced the relay thinking this same problem. It still did it.
I also don't think that the car did this ever since I got it. But it has been getting worse lately. Shouldn't the FP cut off with the ignition switch. I was under the impression that the oil pressure cut off was only for the event off an oil pressure loss while the engine was in operation.

FC,
There's the circuit - you decide if it's normal or not.
