SInce you're new to the site, you should have seen or read the User Agreement before you were allowed to join and post - That's an automatic part of the registration process. If you just clicked "ACCEPT" and didn't read it (yeah, we all do it), you should go back and check it again. I know it looks like the run-of-the-mill User Agreement that you see on every car site out there, but the difference is that we try to abide by it. Another good bit of information is listed in the Board Rules Thread. That should give you a pretty good overview of what happens here.
This is a technical site, loaded with useful technical help and content. Sure, we have fun now and again, but the focus is on solving members' problems, lending assistance and experiences, and the occasional advice or opinion on modifications and upgrades. We also restrict content to ThirdGen GM F-Body vehicles, even though many of the replies and much of the information is very good general advice for many vehicles.
You're certainly welcome to post any time, as long as you honor the rules. However, for threads like this one, Mac at www.NEThirdGen.org has graciously allowed us to post all the non-technical content on his site. You'll find a lot of the same members on both sites, with most of the technical content here, and all of the non-tech content there. You might get a lot of good burnout photos there, too.
Again, welcome to ThridGen.org. I think you'll find the site very useful. It would also be appreciated if you could relate your experiences and knowledge to the site when someone else has a question or problem. That's how we work, and it benefits everyone.
Thanks for your cooperation. Enjoy the ride.
