Is the brake booster rebuildable?

And if it is, is the kit easily available? My BB is hissing pretty badly, though braking doesn't seem to be bothered too much - probably because of the Baer system up front and the LS1's out back though. I figgered if I can rebuild it, that means I can powdercoat it since it's apart anyway...

Anyone have any thoughts?

I've never rebuilt one, but obviously it can be done. Probably best left to the pros though.

I suppose if you want to tackle it yourself you can. If it doesn't work out you might live to tell about it.
