replaced balls in headlight motor..now it will close...but motor wont turn on........
replaced ***** in headlight motor..now it will close...but motor wont turn on........
i replaced my shredded plastic ***** in my motor w/ some 10mm(approx .39") steel ones. It now will go down with no problem and wont keep running after its down but the motor wont even spin to lift it up when i turn the lights on....i have to manually spin it?? PLEASE HELP B/C THIS IS SERIOUSLY PISSING ME OFF...thanx

HEH I DID THE SAME THING ABD I DUNNO WHY IT DID THE SAME THING.I ENDED UP PUTTING TWO NICE USED UNITS ON AND CALLING IT SPEGETTI!

350:cylinders bored .040 over.a little over 9:1 compression(getting a blower some day when im rich lol)line bored.deck is milled a little(was pitted)
trw forged pistons with summit stage 2 polished rods with arp bolts.
194? intake valves(not 2.02
( ),pocket ported,gasket matched,and polished ports,old vette intake with new zinc 650 holley
ase certified for a few years,learned alot though
working on freakin NEONS ,cirruses,tauruses,cobras(well` at least they look nice lol)and intrepids all day makes me drink too much
good job security though
im always on the lookout for cheapv-8 t-5,s
and t-56 setups.they must be cheap.i dont care of they need rebuild,as long as they arent totally blown

Did you check the headlight motor relay mounted on the firewall?
I remember doing this years ago, and I think we backprobed the primary wires with a voltmeter to make sure the relay was energizing when the headlamp switch was turned on and off. In my case the headlights wouldn't go on, and the relay was getting power from the switch, but it wouldn't engage. 14 year old relays do go bad after a while...
