When I'm finally done putting the heads and cam in the engine, I want to upgrade the pulley system right away. Excuse the crude diagram, it's the best I could do. The AC is gone already, so forget about that. The belt from the alt, water pump and crank is one of the wide serpentine-like ones. The other in water pump, crank and power steering is a V-belt. I'll be getting new pulleys, not underdrive, so I guess I can switch the alt pulley to V-belt right away. The alt, water and crank belt will run the same way, what about the power steering now. Just run it off the crank? So I guess I'll need a double groove crank pulley, single water pump, single alternator and single power steering. I'll probably have to get some kind of bracket system right away, huh? I also will probably get the new chrome power steering pump and pulley with mounts Summit has for sale now. Does this sound right so far? Thanks.
