I have been shopping around for a 383 crate motor. I want one that I can bolt a aftermarket fuel injection onto (Mini-Ram, or Tuned Port) I have noticed that most of the 383's highest torque and horsepower numbers are in the high rpm range for our cars 5000 and above. Is this normal for a 383 motor? Anyway just wondering if any of you have purchased one and what kind of et's you have ran with it. I plan on getting all forged and putting a Procharger on. I just want one that I don't have to build. Just drop it in and go!
