LA Billet Crankshaft
LA Billet Crankshaft
I got a free brand new LA Billet Crankshaft and i need some info. At first the guy that gave it to me said it was a 327 and now he says it a 350, whats the best way to tell. It sucks i just got a Speed Demon 650 DP, so if its a 350 i will need to get a 750. My combo thus far is in the sig.
A standard 350 crank stroke is 3.48 inches. That means the radius from the main bearing axis to the rod journal axis should be 1.74 inches.
If it's shorter than that, it's not a 350. A 327 crank should be a 3.250 stroke.

billet would leave me to believe that this isnt a stock crank, casting number is probably not on there... measure the stroke.. that will tell you.. or if you can find a part number check your summit catalog.
