Sticking Lifters?
I have the annoying clicking sound coming from my engine and it sounds like the lifters. If the lifters are sticking, do I have to get new ones or is there a way to fix the problem? I would rather hear my exhaust noise rather than my engine noises! I haven't really dealt with engine internals and am looking for any help. Thanks

just be sure its the lifters first.. many things can sound like that.. takes a while to figure out sometimes.. could be an exhaust leak.. could be lifters.. could be a valve out of adjustment.. try putting a prybar to various parts with the handle end to your ear.. should help ya make sure.

Try lashing them first. Its easy to do.
Maybe see if your exhaust manifold/header bolts are loose too.. and exhaust leak can sound like a ticking sound
