I took off my valve covers yesterday and copied down the casting numbers. Could somebody here maybe find some info on my heads and maybe some info on what kinda cam might have came with them?

the LT1 wasnt a bad stock engine for the early 70's at all.. if you could post the block casting number that will help us tell what the block is from.. casting number is on the rear of the block behind the drivers side head where the trans bolts up.. also if you look at the front of the engine towards the top of the water pump by the passanger side head there is a small ledge.. it has the origional vin of the car it came in along with a suffix code with is very helpful in determining the origional application.. one thing to keep in mind that all this info is pretty much just monkey spank.. the chances of that being a bone stock engine from taht year thats never been rebuilt are very very slim..
