I was looking at my car today (i like looking at it) and was trying to figure out a way to set up my own cold air induction on my '91 Camaro TBI.

Has anyone tried putting a Ram-air type set-up behind the grille? From what i saw, there seemed to be quite a bit of room to do that, w/o straining the radiator from it's own air.

I'm really trying to look for a cold air alternative to the open-element (not so cold), any other suggestions? SWhat set-ups have you done or can recommend. SLP? Performance Induction?
