Throttle Cable
Next question in a long list.
Ok, I've gotten rid of the stock intake, and carb and valve covers. Engine compartment is looking better. How do I get rid of the bracket that the throttle cable goes through. There is a piece that retains a portion of the cable housing so that the cable itself will move while the housing stays stationary.
So how do I get rid of that big old ugly bracket which allows me to run the brake vac line and other things through it as well?
I don't need any of that other stuff now, and would like to remove another eye sore.

You can get an aftermarket one, (Mr.gasket, etc.) at just about any auto parts store or at Summit.
It bolts to the carb studs.
