hot cam fiting in 91z28 350tpi?

I am building a 350 tpi to go in my 91z28. so far i have a pr. edelbrock alumium heads. EDL#6086. they have 1.6 rollers on them and a 3 angle valve job has been to them. i can get a good geal on a GM LT4 hot cam. should i get it. will it fit without problems and work good. other plans will be ported intake and plenum, AFPR, and other bolt on's is it worht it to get this cam

That cam profile will run well in your 350, since it was designed for a 350. It will fit just like the original cam does.

You'll have to make sure your valve springs are rated for the lifts (and they might not be) and use a shorter cam sprocket drive dowel for your engine. Some of the LT1/4 cams have an extra deep dowel hole, and the pin can be driven back into the cam further instead of being removed and replaced.

The one problem you are going to have is with your ECM. You'll almost certainly need a custom PROM to run correctly and get the most of the setup. The original PROM for the S-D engine won't feed your heads without getting really lean, especially with more valve opening and duration.
