Would like some input on the set up I plan on Running
I'm rebuilding my 350 TPI in my 87 Trans Am and this is what I'm going with but got board tonight and just started thinking if there is anything else I will need to make this combo work, Any ideas on how it will run? It's a 350 TPI with a 5-spd, posi rear with 3.73 gears, I will have on it ported 3-angle valve job cast iron L98 heads with screw in studs and dual springs to handle lift up to .600, LT4 Hot Camshaft specs duration 218/228 lift .525/.525, 1.6 roller tip rockers, Accel Intake, Ported stock plenum, Ported out SLP runners, Hooker Headers, Dyno-Max cat back exhaust system, 52mm Edelbrock Throttle Body, Holley AFPR, 24# SVO injectors, 160 degree T-Stat, 8mm Taylor Wires, MSD Coil, and a custom chip to what I have. What I would like from this car is to run under 9.0 seconds in the 1/8 mile track (No 1/4 mile track near me) Will this set up get me there? The only other thing I can think of Is I will still have the stock Air Induction System, I'm thinking of adding the SLP kit to it, I would rather find someone that has one that they want to sell if I can't Would it be worth getting the new one from SLP? Thanks, Jason
