coolant bypass trick question

Went to try the coolant bypass trick on my 91 305 TPI and found that the coolant bypass hose is routed different then shown in the tech articles on this site.

It looks like the hose comes out of the throttle body and goes back into the manifold base - instead of in one side of the TB and out the other.

Can this trick be done on a 91 305 ?

Yea I did it on my 92, 91 should be the same. All I did was pull both hoses off the t/b and hose clamped them on a short piece of copper pipe, been good the last three years.

I did the same thing on my 91 305 TPI, and carried it over to my SuperRam setup on my 383. I started to use one hose from the manifold to the diverter valve, but I need to keep the factory formed hard U-turn hose so I just used a "hose mender" to connect them together.
