Valve Seals Kill Performance?
Do horribly leaking valve seals hurt performance?

yes in a round about way. the crab up you valve steams under the head reducing the amount of area avaiable for spent gas to flow out or air/fuel to flow in, foul plugs, and crab up parts with oil that shouldn't be.
