Failed emissions!!!!!!! Too much CO!!!!!!!

Damn it, i was so close too. I failed CT emissions for too much CO (Carbon Monoxide)Enerything else i cleared fine.
Now does this mean im running too rich, or too lean?
I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, so i wanna play w/ that. Any suggestions?

That is too rich.

FP might help, might not. The ECM will tend to simply vary the duty cycle to make the O2 reading what it wants it to be, so it might not change it at all. Another quick & cheap thing to try would be a new O2 sensor.

As posted in the 'TPI' section,
I had the same problem...failed first time with no AIR connected. I connected the Air Pump directly to the exhaust port that goes to the cat (no diverter) and I passed! Backfired a bit on the way there but it worked!!!

Change out to a hotter plug, that should do it for you. To be on the safe side, add in the dry gas trick.

I failed CO with my van last month - 60 gr/mile against 55 required. Everything else was fine. Since this was the third time in 4 years I had trouble getting it through, and had done all the "other" stuff the 1st two times, this time I replaced the cat - nothing else done. Retested, CO went down to 12. HC & NOx went down as well.

Factory cat didn't have any catalyst left in it (no, it wasn't "gutted"). Small wonder it wouldn't pass.

Well, more like flaked out or coated over. Catalyst is not used up in the process of catalyzation.
