torque converter lockup

@ what mph should my torque converter lockup threshold be?

my car is a 88 GTA with LT1 swap 2400 stall 700r4 trans...... I'm talking about the ECM tables you can electronically set the torque converter lockup to where after a certain mph it is never unlocked again so my ? is would i run my 1/4 mile times faster if i locked the torque converter up early or if i leave it unlocked through the entire run?

What year/car/engine do you have? Earlier models had the lockup as low as 28 MPH, and later years were more commonly 41 MPH.
