High Idle
ok so i installed my headers and i had a few problems
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=237824
well now that everything is takin care of i started my car yesterday, let it run and tapped the gas to get the RPM's down, worked fine, they went down to 700 or so. then i drove about 4 miles to a store and about 30 mins later i came out, it started fine but i noticed that when i was at a street light the RPM's were at like 1000-1100. so i put it in N and it was still at 1000-1100, so i tapped the gas to try to bring em down and it wouldn't come down. now this morning i started it and the RPM's were fine again, but by the time i got to school they were at the 1000-1100 RPM's again.
can anyone tell me what's goin on or what to look for???
P.S. i'm not reading any codes so the ECM sees everything as being fine.

The choke thermostat is on the passenger side of the carb. Black plastic round can. The power wire plugs right on the side of the thermostat.
The power warms the choke thermostat to open the choke and release the high idle. It is possible for engine heat to mostly warm the thermostat so it may sometimes release the high idle cam. It'll be on the ragged edge without the electrical power.
