power loss

The other day I stopped at a friends house after taking the car to the car wash, When I left the engine would have trouble starting and would stall when backing out of a spot. When I was finally able to get it on the street it had no power at all, and the RPM's were fluttery. I have it at the mechanic now, they just got through running a diagnostic on the engine but found nothing so far. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? It's a 90' Firebird 3.1 V6.

Did you wash the engine block? Seems like you have moisture in the ignition....get a blowdryer and some extension cord and pull each spark plug wire to dry up all of the moisture. That should fix it.

Thanks for the tip but I don't think that's the problem. I did not wash the engine, but I did last weekend, and it ran perfect for an entire week.
