Cleaning Heads??
I am knee deep in a head gasket change, and the heads are full of gunk and think oil.. What should I use to clean them? A standard engine degreaser??

yes, rinse them out good, and dry them as good a possible and when you put the back on, pour some oil down through them , then change the oil before you start it

Why not have them dunked before you reinstall them? It doesnt cost much, and will get them virtually spotless.

If nothing else bust out the brake parts cleaner. If you cant clean it with brake parts cleaner, you dont need to clean it.
