Need some more help please...
Ok guys, with your help(and alot of reading),Our rebuilt 70's 350 4 bolt main motor is home and on the engine stand ready for some more parts to finish.I could really use some specific help with part numbers from Jegs and/or Summit to get it completely ready to install.I really don't know much about motor rebulding and swapping and to tell you the truth...the more i read/search...the more confused i get. Here's what we have now:
350 bored 30 over
Decent forged pistons 10to1-4 valve relief?
062 Vortec heads with Z-28 springs
Xtreme Energy Cam and Lifter Kit - Grind: XE274H ; Lift: Intake .487", Exhaust .490"; RPM Range: 1800-6000
Edlebrock Performer Vortec Intake
New timing chain/cover oil pump and oil pan and harmonic balancer
New Holley 670 street avenger
underdrive pulleys
Ok this if what i think I still need...please tell me if there is more, bear in mind this is going in a 92 305 tbi RS.I plan on taking most of the front stuff off the existing motor such as:air conditioning, altenator, etc.I would like to keep the serpentine setup but won't need ANY smog stuff as we do not have testing here.Ok on to the needs...
1.water pump-would like an aluminum one so it doesn't rust.I figured out I need a reverse flow but all I see in the parts books are like for trucks and stuff. How bout a part number i could order and know will work?
2.Distributor...dang...way too confusing here....I'm thinking just a moderate priced HEI? Like Proform? MSD? I don't understand all the billet, fancy igntion box stuff and rev limiters. What would I need?
3.Fuel pump...I have the whole in the block where the mechanical one was still.I'm guessing they make a plate to block that off?Or do I go mechanical?I do know i have to do something about fuel pressure since i had tbi...what is the best way to get the fuel i need to the street avenger?
4.Starter...one that will fit under some headers like Hooker 2055's,I would also like to buy a new flywheel to hook up to my 700r tranny.I could use some part numbers there also.
I know this is alot...but any help would be appreciated.I really have read for hours and i'm about cross-eyed...so many different viewpoints. Thanks alot in advance...
p.s. any opinions on how much power this setup would make?

If you don't know what your doing definitly don't try and build the motor yourself. Can you say kaaaaboom!
I'm sorry maybe you didn't understand...I already have had the motor professionally built.I was just hoping to get some help with these few parts to be ready to install it.I have already had some trouble with ordering the wrong parts and having to return them and get something else.I will have the motor installed by a pro also. Thanks
