Air Compressor Problems!!!!

Air Compressor Problems!!!!
In my 1989 GTA 5.7 TPi......My Compressor will not come on unless I jumper the Low pressure cutoff switch. If the cutoff is not jumpered the compressor clutch will not engage and there is not 12v at the clutch engagement coil (not really sure what the propper name is, square two wire connector at front of compressor). When the cutoff switch is jumpered there is 12v at the clutch coil. What can I do to fix this problem so my A/C works properly? Do I need to replace the cut off switch? Please help....thanks.

Changed the Low pressure cut off switch on the accumulator....everything fine now. $13.50 from local store.
