I got the car to run fine for about 1 hour after cleaning the IAC now the tachometer went out and it runs like **** again. Is there a way to check out where the problem is?

Unplug the tach from the distributor and see if that fixes the running problem... if it does, you have a bad tach, or tach filter; if not, you have a distributor-related problem that is affecting the tach's ability to see the pulses from the dist.

Hey man, thanks for all the help before

Anyway Where would I disconnect the tach from a 1991?

There are 6 wires going into my distributer right? 2 of them are on one connection to the ignition module and the other four are on the other connection.

IIRC it connects to the coil... small white wire, big pink one is 12V supply to the system, you might have to remove the wire from the housing; check for good 12V at the big pink wire too while you're at it
