help please

I am at a loss and I need a little help. as some of you know I put a 350 tbi in my car that I got from a j/y. I think I got most of the bugs worked out (less the spark control module, which I can't ID, and a better chip and correct size thottle body). the problem is when I take off it just bogs until I get to about 20 or so mph. could this be because of the missing items above? could the stock exaust be restricting it and causing that?

I know it nees a rebuild (and if I had money and a place to do it I would). but what kind of heads would you peoples reccomend? I like the idea of aluminum and vortech. I'm open to any thoughts, suggestions, and ideas.

I'd get the right injectors and chip in there before worrying about heads. Heads won't fix that and might even make it worse (probably will in fact).

Throwing $$expensive$$ parts at a tuning problem will get you nowhere in a hurry, except lightening your car by way of the driver's wallet.

I already changed the fuel filter (and it did make a world of difference) along with the cap,rotor,plugs,wires,O2 sensor, and the knock sensor. any other ideas anyone?

sorry, kinda long

ok sorry its been a while since I had a chance to post on this. I've been pretty busy (my son had to have surgery) and my internet when on the fritz. granted that has nothing to do with anything but I just felt like saying it.
ok, I am aware that repacing the heads won't fix my current problem, I am planning on getting new heads when I pull the motor again (when I don't know); because I figure it will be easier to do with the motor out of the car.
As for trying to do other mods to help this problem out I'm wanting to get the Acccel 300+, and some headers (I was thinking Dynomax) I am thinking that will free up some power and the motor won't be choking as much. anyway I welcome all opinions and and such. thanks in advance
