New Engine and It won't idle.

I rebuilt 5.7 in my 91 Z28. I put on L98 Corvette heads and the LT4 Hot Cam. The car will not idle in the mornings. When I make a turn after decelerating it tries to stall. Also, when coming to a stop it freaks. I have put 121 miles on the motor already. I have not messed with the IAC or TPS yet. Any suggestions? Thanks, Brandon

Beings that its a 91Z i'm going to assume that it is speed density?
Since you have done some radical changes as far as the computer is concerned i can understand why it is doing that. You will need a custom prom. It would help if you adjusted the timing(if needed) then iac then tps.

Yea i agree with leirch, you probably need an upgrades prom. Call "Jet Performance" and tell them what you have done to you car and they can get you the correct prom for about 180$ 714-848-5515.
or sales@jetchip.com. just write or talk to them. Ive had good experiance with them.

You have the same cam and heads as me. Do the IAC and TPS reset procedure as described in the tech article. After I did that, I went from 11" of vacuum to 17"! The car idled much better. A custom chip helps, but do this first. Your next mod should be a higher stall converter, in the 2600-2800 range.
