need a little advice

Hey guys, I have a little problem. my nephew has a 6 cyl. that had a blown intake man. gasket and was loosing water, he decided that adding some radiator stop leak would help. well it didn't, now I have to pull the motor apart and clean it up and repair it. the stop leak made it's way into the oil pan and now the oil is like molases (SP). anybody know of anything that will cut this stuff, I tried misting some gas on it and it didn't touch it. the only way to get it off now is to wipe it off with a rag.

I don't want to pull the motor out and have it cleaned, if I can get the goop out of it I can just put new bearings and gaskets on it and get it running again.

thanks,

fuel oil, atf, internal engine cleaning products. i'd go for the atf, about a 25% mix with oil run it for a hour or two.
